Beebe Healthcare is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries. You will perform scrub and circulating roles, assess patients, and coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perfusion teammates to ensure safety and excellent outcomes.

The role requires cardiovascular experience, hospital practice in the last 5 years or new grad within 2 years, and NURSING process knowledge with POC testing training.

Qualifications

• Cardiovascular experience is required.
• Must possess current hospital experience (within the past 5 years) or be a new graduate (within the last 2 years).
• Must complete Point of Care Testing training as part of Department Orientation.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and its application—assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic procedures.
• Assess perioperative status and apply cardiac anatomy knowledge to anticipate needs.
• Scrub and circulating nurse roles during cardiovascular procedures.
• Document and communicate pertinent patient information for safe intraoperative care.
• Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and room turnover practices.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
