The role requires a Wisconsin RN license, ACLS/BLS as scheduled, and a nursing diploma. OR experience is preferred, with a supportive environment and commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub functions and handling of instruments and supplies used during complex cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care during cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist operating physicians and anesthesia with accessing and maintaining lines and intubation during cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
