Job summary

Prolink seeks a CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to support cardiovascular surgeries. The CSFA performs suturing, tissue retraction and hemostasis in open-heart and vascular cases, using strict sterile technique and CVOR protocols.

The ideal candidate will hold CSFA credentials, CVOR experience, and proficiency with Epic or similar EHR systems. You will collaborate with surgeons and the care team to ensure patient safety and effective surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• CSFA certification required or preferred.
• Experience with CVOR settings and cardiovascular procedures.
• Strong sterile technique and adherence to infection-control standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with suturing and hemostasis in CVOR procedures.
• Prepare CVOR with sterile instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile fields and infection control.
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgery.
• Document procedures in EHR systems like Epic.
