Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technologist or Military Operating Room Specialist Course required.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required in South Carolina.
A current AHA or American Red Cross BLS Health Care Provider required.
Minimum of 1–2 years CVOR experience required.
Responsibilities
Set up and manage instruments, equipment, and supplies for all surgical procedures.
Maintain a sterile field while passing instrumentation during an invasive procedure.
Perform appropriate counts with circulator before the operation.
Assist in patient positioning and obtaining needed equipment.
Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization.
