Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of a surgical technologist program or 1 year hospital experience if prior to 9/1/2009.
- Certification is required: CST or TS-C depending on credential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize the surgical suite with instruments and supplies.
- Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping.
- Scrub in and hand instruments to the surgeon; anticipate team needs.
- Monitor equipment and patient status during procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field and support efficient room turnover.
