Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) travel nurse for Tulsa, Oklahoma. The RN will care for patients post-open-heart surgery and heart transplants, working a fast-paced environment with a diverse team.

ACLS/BLS and 1–2 years of acute care experience are required; additional certifications may be needed before assignment. The position offers 12-hour shifts with a weekly hours commitment and a tax-free stipend, in a travel staffing context.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required or in progress.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience is preferred.
• Cardiovascular or CVICU experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to CVICU patients following specialized procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on recovery and home care.
