Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel assignment in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The contract is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule, and requires active CVICU experience and NJ or compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Active NJ license or Compact license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years CVICU experience; SICU with CVICU training considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-op cardiac patient care (CABG, MVR, AVR, TAVR).
• Operate advanced cardiac equipment (Impella, IABP, PrisMax with CRRT).
• Administer meds including IV paralytics and sedation.
• Perform chest tube management, ventilator care, and dysrhythmia monitoring.
• Assess and respond to emergencies promptly.
