GHR Healthcare in Camden, NJ is seeking a travel CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment to care for critically ill adult cardiac patients in a high-acuity CVICU. Night shifts, 36 hours per week, with ~2 patients per nurse and orientation of 24 hours.

Required are NJ or Compact RN license, 2+ years CVICU experience, open-heart recovery exposure, and BLS/ACLS; NIHSS is also required. Epic EHR experience preferred; may float within the network as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Jersey or a valid Compact license, active and in hand at submission.
• At least 2 years of CVICU or cardiovascular ICU experience, including recent practice.
• Recent open-heart recovery experience directly from the operating room is required.
• Experience managing balloon pumps, LVADs, Impella devices, and ECMO.
• Current BLS and ACLS; NIHSS certification required.
• Recent Epic EHR charting experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill adult cardiovascular patients.
• Provide direct care for patients recovering from open-heart surgery and related interventions.
• Monitor patients on mechanical circulatory support (IABP, LVAD, ECMO, etc.).
• Titrate vasoactive and cardiac infusions per protocols.
• Assess and manage ventilated patients and dysrhythmias.
• Document assessments and progress in Epic.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.
