Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVICU RN for a nights assignment in New Mexico. The role requires a NM or Compact RN license and travel experience, with 13 weeks duration and a 4x12 hour night schedule.

Relocation and credentialing may apply, and nurses must meet facility prerequisites including BLS/ACLS/NIHSS. The position offers a 36- or 48-hour weekly option, patient ratios of 1:2, and floating to similar units as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required; must be obtained prior to start if pending
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• Minimum 2 years CVICU experience preferred
• CVICU travel assignment with 4x12 night shifts; 48 hrs/wk possible

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to CVICU patients including post-surgical and hemodynamically unstable cases
• Maintain patient safety and infection control in a high-acuity CVICU
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for cardiovascular care
