Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel CVICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Hickory, NC. You will work 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. Start date 09/28/2026, travel employment. Earn competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits while delivering high-acuity care in the ICU.

Required: 1 year CVICU experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS. Preferred: CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS. This role emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and excellence in patient safety.

Qualifications

• One year of CVICU RN experience.
• Current RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Operate life-support equipment and administer advanced treatments.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
• Provide patient/family education about ICU care and recovery expectations.
