Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is hiring a CVICU RN for a hospital contract in Baltimore, MD. The traveler will provide care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients in the ICU, with focus on ventilator support, CRRT, and vasoactive titration.

Requirements include RN license and BLS, plus experience with post-op cardiac care in ICU. The assignment spans 13 weeks with hospital-based shifts and a dedicated recruiter support system.

Qualifications

• RN License and BLS certification.
• Experience with post-op cardiac surgery ICU recovery.
• Ventilator management and CRRT capabilities.
• Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring and Epicardial wires.
• Pace maker wires and epicardial information.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients in the ICU.
• Manage ventilators, CRRT, and vasoactive medications to stabilize patients.
• Monitor patient status changes including Swan-Ganz lines and Epicardial wires.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document care accurately per hospital protocols.

Requirements: RN License; BLS; current experience with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting, Vent, CRRT, Swan, Epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive gtts titration, level 1 IABP, ECMO

• Provide specialized care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients recovering in the ICU
• Manage ventilators, CRRT, and vasoactive medications to stabilize patients
• Monitor and respond to patient condition changes, including SwanGanz and Epicardial wires
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document care processes accurately and in compliance with hospital protocols
