Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. You will provide critical care nursing to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery or with acute cardiac decompensation, managing hemodynamics, ventilation, and post-surgical recovery in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires RN licensure in the state of practice, BLS and ACLS certification, and typically 1–2 years of ICU or cardiovascular experience. CCRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice (Required)
• 1-2 years ICU or cardiovascular nursing experience (Preferred).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (Required).
• CCRN certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients recovering from cardiac surgery, including chest tubes, drains, and pacing wires.
• Perform continuous hemodynamic monitoring and titrate vasoactive/inotropic medications.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and assist with weaning protocols.
• Recognize and respond promptly to signs of tamponade, arrhythmia, or hemodynamic instability.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and other disciplines on post-operative plan of care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
