Job summary

• RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) of practice.
• BLS required; other certifications may be required per specialty.
• BSN is preferred for CVICU role.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Float to other units as needed.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork.
