Job summary

Ascension Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced RN to lead the CVICU team on a day shift. This full-time role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staffing and budgets, and driving high-quality patient care.

You will develop policies, monitor quality metrics, hire and develop staff, and collaborate with physicians to maintain satisfaction and outcomes. Active Wisconsin RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license required prior to hire.
• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire.
• 3 years nursing experience and 1 year cumulative leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance for self and units.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care delivery.
• Develop and implement policies for efficient health services delivery.
• Maintain quality monitoring systems for units.
• Monitor budget and monitor expenditures to meet guidelines.
• Hire, train, direct, counsel and develop staff to ensure satisfaction.
