Job summary

Exceed Medical is seeking a Cardiovascular Critical Care Physician (CVICU) to provide expert care for acutely ill cardiac patients within a level 1 trauma center and an active ECPR program. You will lead care protocols and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance patient outcomes.

The role requires MD/DO, Texas licensure eligibility, and board eligibility or certification in Critical Care Medicine, with experience or strong interest in cardiac and cardiothoracic ICU medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• NPI number before starting employment.
• Current DEA registration for schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5.
• Board certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
• Extensive or strong interest in Cardiac and Cardiothoracic ICU medicine.
• Willingness to learn ECMO cannulation, RP Flex Impella placement, and TEE.
• Willingness to become independent in ECMO management and cannulation.
• Texas medical license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
• Lead in cardiovascular care protocols and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Contribute to clinical education and research within a level 1 trauma center and ECPR program.
