Job summary

CT Assist is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a full-time locums assignment in California. Start ASAP for a 3-month contract, with day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in inpatient and outpatient settings including rounding and clinic. CA license is required, Epic EMR in use. Competitive pay $115–$135/hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• CA state NP license required.
• Experience in cardiothoracic patient management preferred.
• Ability to perform pre-op H&P and post-op rounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record pre-operative history and physical examinations.
• Provide patient care in post-operative units and clinic settings.
• Manage cardiothoracic surgery patients across care settings.
