Job summary

Responsibilities include comprehensive history and physicals, ordering and interpreting tests, forming differential diagnoses, developing care plans, and ensuring thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for advanced practice.
• National Board Certification as ACNP or PA is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in acute care or CVICU is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete history and physicals and documents in the medical record.
• Orders and interprets data and diagnostic procedures as indicated.
• Serves as first responder for status changes and urgent interventions.
• Collaborates with care team to diagnose acute and complex conditions.
• Develops and documents a plan of care addressing complex needs.
• Maintains ongoing communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Documents progress notes, discharge summaries, and care plans.
