Job summary

Jefferson University Physicians seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (ACNP/PA) to support the acute care hospital team in Philadelphia, PA. You will conduct histories, physicals, and documentation, order and interpret tests, respond to patient status changes, and collaborate on plans of care across the care continuum.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, senior clinical judgment, and active participation in rounds, with opportunities for professional development and teaching

Qualifications

• Performs complete history & physicals and documents in the medical record.
• Orders and collects data using assessment techniques and diagnostic procedures.
• May serve as first responder for patient status changes and interventions.
• Assesses risks in acute and complex chronically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to diagnose acute and complex chronic conditions.
• Manages diagnostic tests including ordering, interpretation, and supervision.
• Formulates differential diagnoses and plans of care.
• Prescribes diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions.
