Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience with Jabil software packages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair basic powered functional test failures on electronic circuit boards.
  • Utilize electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Read and apply schematics, BOMs, EC documents, visuals, and testing procedures.
  • Assist Test Engineering in data evaluation to improve diagnostics.
  • Adhere to safety, health, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with production to meet diagnostic yields.

Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the verification testing, diagnosing and repairing of electronic circuit board assemblies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Diagnose and repair to basic powered functional test failures (power, traffic, network issues) to a component level on electronic circuit board assemblies while maintaining minimal quantities of Engineering and Component hold assemblies.· Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.· Understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following; Schematics, BOM’s, EC documents, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.· Assist Test Engineering department in an ongoing data evaluation program for improving the efficiency of the diagnosis of assemblies.· Understand, recognize and execute Jabil production requirements, rules, policies and procedures.· Work as a team member to achieve Diagnostic department’s process yield goals.· Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.· Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.· Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.· Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.· Ability to write simple correspondence.
