Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance on CVD tooling, recover from PM events, and monitor process trends. You will document interruptions and coordinate with the Process team to ensure proper disposition and quality.

In this role you will work with the Shift Supervisor to schedule PMs, provide ETAs for tool recovery, and follow SOPs during PM execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years prior work experience.
• Two year technical degree, equivalent military experience (or if not available, 2-5 years direct experience).
• Experience working in Semiconductor/High Volume Manufacturing Facilities.
• 300mm Endura Producer and/or AMAT experience is strongly preferred
• Prior experience working in high volume fabrication AMAT Robot experience is also a strong plus along with LFM set-up

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled maintenance following detailed SOP.
• Troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Monitoring and responding to abnormal equipment signals.
• Working with senior personnel and engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Correcting and generate SOPs when required.
