Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a CVD Equipment Engineer to join our manufacturing team in the 300mm wafer fab. You will own CVD equipment, set parameters, perform preventive maintenance, and drive uptime, yield and cost improvements across the process.

As a CVD Equipment Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working with a team of other process and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, maintaining and optimizing equipment to improve product quality and reliability, reduce cost, improve productivity, and manage risk, as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. This position will identify, diagnose and resolve process and equipment related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, KT, FDC and/or SPC methodologies. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and carrying out process, equipment and material evaluations and optimizations, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handling new component qualifications and managing, auditing and liaising with equipment suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.
Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and reducing equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
