This position is part of DHL Aviation’s US Cargo division, specifically within Air Capacity Sales (ACS), which sells excess air network capacity to freight forwarders. The US ACS group is experiencing high growth, with revenue tripling over the last three years to nearly $120 million. The candidate should be credible, persuasive, and comfortable leading peer groups and presenting strategies.
Success depends on managing third-party handlers and contracts effectively, with a focus on performance, service levels, and SOPs.
Implement ACS policies, work with partners to establish SOPs and SLAs, and measure service performance. Support ACS systems and educate users on leveraging tools like Cognos, TGV, PTGV, OCNT, and CMS. Review daily performance, identify issues, and develop recovery strategies.
