Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a CV Radiology Invasive Specialist to perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography and assist in cardiac catheterization and related procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role includes post-procedure care, equipment QC, and inventory management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs all aspects of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography on all patient populations, as appropriate.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Assists physicians with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion and diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath. Lab.
2. Performs post procedure care/groin management including arterial and venous sheath removal.
3. Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on radiologic equipment.
4. Maintains supply inventory.
5. Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
