Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK, seeks a day shift, full-time CV Interventional Technologist for the Cath Lab. The role provides opportunity to perform complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures with independence and clinical judgment.

The qualified candidate will have applicable Allied Health education or equivalent experience, ARRT-R or LP licensure, and current BLS/ACLS certifications within 90 days of hire. English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in lieu of Allied Health postsecondary education is acceptable.
• Successful completion of an Allied Health postsecondary education program that is patient-care related OR equivalent experience.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) OR LP (Licensed Paramedic).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular and interventional procedures in the Heart Cath Lab with independent judgment.
• Assist in completing reports and documentation in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

The Cardiovascular/Interventional Technologist performs vascular procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of highly specialized cardiac, vascular, or interventional procedures that require independent judgment to apply prescribed techniques to obtain the best possible diagnostic and therapeutic results. This position requires age related competencies. CCSS: The Cardiovascular Technologists assumes responsibility for interpreting diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Heart Cath Lab in order that data be obtained and entered into the CCSS database.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing vascular procedures independent of supervision of technical quality, assist in completion of reports of various reports, development policy and procedures, charge sheets, patient requisition in a timely manner; transport patients; maintain universal precaution; administration of contrast material according to order, selection of equipment, and assisting physicians as needed.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in lieu of successful completion of an Allied Health postsecondary education program that is patient-care related

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
