Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a Machine Operator in Elkhart, IN to join a metal fabrication distributor. The role offers a $18.00/hr wage and first shift hours with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include operating CTL equipment, performing safety inspections, and maintaining quality and productivity at the work center. The position requires lifting up to 75 pounds and basic math/read tape measure skills, plus good communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Standing/walking for more than eight hours per day.
• Ability to read a tape measure and basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Perform repetitive motions in excess of eight hours per day.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to dust, fumes, noise, temperature and other elements in the facility.

• Perform Daily Safety/Maintenance Equipment and Shift Inspections.
• Monitor and maintain CTL Schedule.
• Setup and operate equipment for maximum safety, quality, efficiency and productivity of work center.
• Responsible for cutting/leveling aluminum coil.
• Monitor and manage all processed material for defects during operation and inspections; remove defects from customer product as necessary.
• Ensure maximum safety, quality and productivity of Work Center.
• Able to be multi task and oversee all CTL activities.
• May be required to participate in training/cross-training additional CTL personnel.
• Responsible for housekeeping of CTL Line and surrounding areas.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Pay: $18.00/hr

Shift/Pay Details: 1st shift: 7am-3pm + OT as needed OT hours would be 5am-3pm.

Pro Resources is currently seeking candidates to fill the role of Machine Operator for a company located in Elkhart, IN. This company is a distributor and fabricator of aluminum and stainless-steel products. Inventory that includes a complete line of sheet, coil, plate, custom extrusions along with multi-stage processing and fabrication services.
