Kloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking a Cut to Length Assistant Operator to support the processing line and machine operations under supervision. You will assist with line setup, load products, and help ensure safety and quality standards are met on the production floor.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and involves learning on-the-job, cross-training on multiple lines, and performing other duties as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications

• This job requires a High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in an industrial warehouse environment preferred.
• Proficient with basic measurement tools and numeric reading.
• Able to read simple instructions and follow procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Setup Assistance: Help operators with line and machine setup and production processes
• Product Loading: Load products onto the line or machine while adhering to safety and quality standards
• Non-Conformance Notification: Report any observed non-conformances during processing to the operator
• Setup Creation: Assist in the creation and adjustment of setups as required
• Packaging Support: Aid in the packaging area as needed
• Cross-Training: Support and/or train on other lines or machines to meet business needs
• Computer Use: Utilize computer systems to facilitate production tasks
• Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned

• Setup Assistance: Help operators with line and machine setup and production processes
