Job summary

Closets by Design Boston is seeking a Cut List Job Processor/CAD Technician to review designs, assemble precise cutlists, and support pricing, production, and installation teams. The role requires CAD proficiency and familiarity with Cabinet Vision, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong drafting/design experience, manufacturing exposure, and typing speed of 40 WPM.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Drafting or design experience preferred.
Cabinet Vision experience preferred.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Typing of 40 WPM preferred.
Must be familiar with computer usage and technology.
CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Review sales designs to ensure the design is compliant with the company’s product offerings and installation requirements and limitations.
Define and work efficiently to resolve design questions.
Assemble an accurate cutlist that identifies all parts and machining requirements for the components required by the design using Cabinet Vision & other tools.
Complete the cutlist package and submit it in a time frame that is consistent with company standards and efficiency requirements.
Provide support to the Pricing, Production, and Installation Departments, as required.
Comply with all company policies and standards of behavior and performance.
Utilize CAD program to support the sales/production teams.
