Magna Powertrain in Troy, MI, seeks a Customs Compliance Student (Co‑Op) to support import processes and ensure compliance in a real-world automotive environment. You will collaborate with customs brokers, suppliers and internal teams to gather and share information for U.S.

Qualifications

• Senior-year undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business/ops-related fields.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with gathering and sharing shipment information with customs brokers to meet U.S. import rules.
• Support daily import activities and help resolve delays or holds.
• Learn about USMCA and tariff programs to optimize import costs.
• Help track broker compliance with Magna’s rules and procedures.
• Assist with data collection, reporting, and product classification for customs.
