Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a trading compliance data professional to support reporting, analytics, and cross-functional coordination across finance and operations.

You will maintain SAP data, validate duties, and support data integrity for drawback claims while partnering with Accounting and Controlling teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of trade compliance experience.
• Experience with SAP or SAP 4Hana.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency.
• HTS classification knowledge.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; passport or ability to obtain one.
• Professional office etiquette required at all times.

Responsibilities

• Support trade compliance and financial data processes through reporting, analytics, and cross-functional coordination.
• Maintain and validate customs and financial data within SAP and related systems.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and Controlling teams to ensure accuracy of duty-related financial data in SAP, including reporting, reconciliation, and cost allocation.
• Support duty drawback initiatives by maintaining and validating import/export data, ensuring system readiness and data integrity for drawback claims.
• Oversee SAP data maintenance and governance efforts related to trade compliance ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of trade compliance data across systems.
• Investigate data discrepancies and partner with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain reports to track trade compliance metrics, duty spend, and financial impacts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within trade and finance processes.
