Job description

Sea Trade International, Inc. is seeking a Customs Brokerage Manager to work in its Secaucus, NJ headquarters office.

Specific responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Work with clients to ensure all documentation is received and accurate
• Handle release and ISF/entries for vehicles/personal goods being imported into the US via air and ocean
• Supervise and ensure accurate and timely processing of ISF and entries
• Ensure data entry of shipment information for release and billing are accurate and complete
• Ensure classification and value is correct for U.S. duties/fees
• Coordinate and prepare entry summary as needed to monitor route shipment release and arrange any required transportation or warehousing
• Completes a daily report on release and classification and related activities as assigned
• Create and maintain data for shipments in relevant systems
• Familiar with CargoWise software and knows how to use operation and finance functions
• Able to lead the brokerage department in successfully completing all tasks while effectively managing and mitigating risks

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience with customs laws, regulations, procedures, and industry practices required
• Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborate effectively with relevant departments
