Salary: Positions are at the GS-9 grade level, with promotion potential to GS-11 and GS-12. Pay is determined after all pre-employment processes. Locations include various sites across the U.S. and territories, with some offering recruitment incentives.
Minimum 1 year of specialized law enforcement experience or equivalent education. Education substitutions and experience combinations are allowed. Volunteer and national service experience are credited. Candidates must pass a Tier 5 background investigation and meet medical, physical, and drug testing requirements.
Must be a U.S. citizen, with a 3 of 5 years residency in the U.S. or eligible for exceptions. Mandatory retirement provisions apply. The position involves wearing a uniform, adhering to grooming standards, and carrying a firearm.
