Job description

Customer/ Technical Training

Department: Training & Enablement

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Bethesda

Reporting To: Sr Director: Learning and Development

Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 / year

Description

As an End User Trainer & Product Demonstration Specialist, you will be the person who makes the Brivo platform "sing" for customers, prospects, partners, and internal audiences. This is a hybrid pre- and post-sales role: one day you are delivering a sharp, story-driven demo that shows a prospect exactly how Brivo solves the problems they came in with; the next you are leading a structured, tailored training session that ensures an existing customer gets full value from the system they bought.

You will begin by taking over reseller and end user training of our Brivo Visitor Management platform (powered by Envoy). In that position you add value by enabling our partners, gain end user experience you can draw from, and ramp on our Brivo Access Control and Brivo Eagle Eye Video platforms. From there, you will become the go-to resource for high-stakes demonstrations (executive, board, investor, and strategic customer meetings), and ultimately help raise the demo standard across Brivo by coaching sales, RSAM, and Customer Success team members on the art of the demo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Brivo Visitor Management (BVM) Certification Training to resellers and manage implementation and training resources
  • Deliver polished, problem-first product demonstrations for prospects and customers across the Brivo platform
  • Prepare for every demo by gathering context from the account owner (what the customer asked about, what problems they are trying to solve, what will move the conversation forward) and tailor the session accordingly, rather than walking through every feature
  • Connect features to real-world value through customer stories and use cases that resonate with security, facilities, and executive audiences
  • Serve as Brivo's primary demonstrator for high-visibility meetings such as executive briefings, board and investor sessions, and strategic account reviews
  • Design and deliver BVM end-user training sessions built around the customer's actual questions and goals, using a flexible discovery-based approach rather than a fixed SKU menu
  • Follow and adapt structured training syllabi when appropriate to ensure customers can accomplish the key tasks they need in the platform
  • Field competitor and "how does this compare" questions confidently during demos and training
  • Coach and develop internal demonstrators: observe demos, deliver constructive feedback, run role-play and mock-customer scenarios, and help build an internal pool of certified demo experts
  • Enable the Customer Success team to give immediate, hands-on feature walkthroughs when customers call with questions, instead of redirecting to links or paid services
  • Partner with University to define and track training quality measures (post-session evaluations, learner feedback, adoption indicators)
  • Maintain deep, current product knowledge across access control, video, visitor management, and mobile credentials, and continuously learn as the platform evolves
  • Work independently with outstanding communication skills to set and meet quarterly objectives
  • Support additional University and Training & Enablement initiatives as needed, in a helpful spirit of collaboration
