Job summary

Cardmarket is seeking a motivated Support Agent (German/English) to resolve customer inquiries and maintain a safe, trustworthy marketplace. You will communicate primarily in German and English, acting as the main contact between users and internal teams.

The role is based in Berlin with a hybrid working model. Candidates should be fluent in German (C2) and English (C1), with a valid work permit for Germany.

To strengthen our Support Department, we are looking for a motivated Support Agent (German/English) who enjoys helping customers, takes ownership of support requests, and serves as a reliable point of contact between our users and internal teams.

Your Responsibilities

• You support Cardmarket users with a wide range of inquiries and operational topics. Your primary responsibility is to resolve customer requests and provide assistance in writing, mainly in German and English
• You are often the first point of contact between Cardmarket and its users. Through your daily interactions with our community, you help create a positive user experience and build trust in our platform.
• You help maintain a safe and trustworthy marketplace by reviewing disputes, identifying suspicious activities, and supporting the enforcement of our platform policies.
• You mediate between buyers and sellers to find fair and practical solutions. As many transactions on Cardmarket take place between private individuals, this role requires sound judgment, a high level of responsibility, and confidence in making independent decisions.

Your profile

• You speak fluent German (C2) and English (C1) and ideally French (B1) and/or Spanish (B1)?
• Do you like trading card games and are you familiar with online trading (on Cardmarket if possible)?
• Do you like working in a solution-oriented way and helping others?
• Do you enjoy dealing with people, have a feel for customer enquiries and strike "the right note" in conversation?
• Are you well-versed in the use of computers and office applications?
• You already have working experience in customer support with other companies?
• Presence in Berlin & valid work permit for Germany is required!
