About the Role
SpringMath Accelerate is a fast-growing education startup helping school districts implement SpringMath, an MTSS-aligned math intervention solution, to accelerate student achievement in math. We're seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our 2-person CS team, supporting our school district partners across the US and Canada from onboarding through ongoing success. Reporting to the Senior Director of Solution Delivery, you'll operate within a shared portfolio model, working collaboratively across our full set of district accounts. Key Responsibilities
This role owns the full post-sales customer success lifecycle — from initial onboarding through ongoing support across the academic year.
- Onboarding & Implementation: Facilitate seamless post-sale onboarding for school district partners, working independently or alongside team members to ensure smooth adoption.
- Training & Professional Development: Lead engaging workshops and coaching sessions for teachers and administrators on platform features and instructional best practices.
- District Relationship & Account Support: Manage day-to-day district communications, track usage health metrics, and provide responsive ongoing support to drive high customer retention.
- Team & Cross-Departmental Alignment: Work collaboratively within the Customer Success team and build strong relationships across other departments to advocate for client needs and align on shared goals.
- Product Advocacy: Synthesize teacher and administrator feedback to advocate for product enhancements with our internal product and engineering teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Background in K-12 education, instructional coaching, or EdTech customer success.
- MTSS Expertise: Understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks, particularly as applied to math instruction.
- Collaborative Mindset: Demonstrates exceptional teamwork skills, comfortably building strong working relationships across internal departments and within the CS team.
- Post-Sale Expertise: Strong understanding of adult learning, district implementation strategies, and customer retention metrics.
- Data & Reporting Fluency: Comfortable working hands-on with usage dashboards and reporting tools to track account health and inform district conversations.
- Facilitation Experience: Demonstrated experience leading workshops, training, or coaching sessions for adult learners.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications.
- Math Teaching Experience: Former experience as a K-12 Math Educator or Math Interventionist.
- Explicit Instruction Familiarity: Understanding of explicit instruction methodologies and structured intervention routines.
- SaaS Experience: Prior background working within SaaS, technology, or B2B software environments.
- Customer Success Frameworks: Knowledge of established customer success frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Customer Success Tools: Hands-on experience with customer success platforms (e.g., ZenDesk, Gainsight, ChurnZero, and HubSpot).
- Texas Residence: Lives in Texas with familiarity or experience in the Texas public school system.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000, commensurate with experience and preferred qualifications
