Job description

Keep what sales wins. Onboard the named accounts to real value, catch churn before it starts, run the renewal, and grow the account. The human relationship with the customers big enough to earn one.

Sales & Customer Success. Remote. Full-time. 3+ years. Listed, not hiring now (here in case the seat opens).

Team: Sales & Customer Success. We win the accounts a person has to work and we keep them. This seat owns the keeping: onboarding, renewals, and expansion on the named accounts, measured on the revenue the customer's agents generate, attributed to the agent and to Intempt.

You own the account after it closes. The GTM Engineer wins the enterprise deal; you make it real. You run the onboarding that gets a new customer to value before they have time to doubt the decision, the check-ins that catch a problem while it is still fixable, the renewal, and the expansion when the account is ready for more.

This is the human half of keeping customers, and it is deliberately narrow. Support is AI-first, so you are not a ticket queue. The product community is run by Product & Community for self-serve users at scale, so you are not moderating a Discord. You own the named accounts, the ones a person worked to win, where a real relationship is worth the time. For everyone below that line, the product and the community do the job.

You are also the clearest voice of the paying customer inside the company. What renewals ride on, what expansions need, and what nearly churned an account are signal you carry straight back to product, with enough detail that they can act on it.

  • Onboarding: a named account to real, measurable value fast, with a plan and a date.
  • Retention: the health read on every account, and the save before a problem becomes a churn.
  • Renewals: owned end to end, forecast honestly, closed on time.
  • Expansion: spotting when an account is ready for more and working it with the GTM Engineer.
  • Escalations: the path for a named account when something breaks, coordinated with engineering and product.
  • The voice of the customer: what you hear, carried back to Product & Community as signal, not anecdote.
  • The number: the revenue the customer's agents generate, attributed to the agent and to Intempt. Retention and expansion are the lagging proof; you work the leading number.
  • 3+ years in customer success or account management for a technical or product-led B2B company, with retention numbers you can show.
  • Comfortable owning a renewal and a revenue number, not just a relationship.
  • Technical enough to onboard a real product and to tell a product gap from a usage gap.
  • AI-native: you use Claude to prep accounts, summarize usage, and draft the follow-up, and you automate the busywork.
  • Allergic to green dashboards that hide a churning account. You read the usage, not the smile on the last call.
  • You want a book of hundreds of accounts to touch once a quarter. This is a small set of named accounts, worked closely.
  • You treat the role as support with a nicer title.
  • You measure success in logos retained, not in the revenue your accounts' agents generate.
