Job summary

Hippocratic AI is hiring a Customer Success Executive with deep payor experience to join our Seattle-based team. You will ensure health plan clients achieve measurable outcomes through deployment of Hippocratic AI’s innovative solutions and partner with the Chief Medical Officer on satisfaction, retention, and expansion across our payer portfolio.

You’ll lead onboarding, drive adoption, manage stakeholder relationships across operations and leadership, and translate client needs into product

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working with or within health plans (e.g., Medicare Advantage, Medicaid MCOs, Blues plans).
• Proven experience in customer success, account management, or implementation roles.
• Deep understanding of payer workflows across departments like utilization management, care management, member services, and provider operations.
• Ability to build trusted relationships across payer orgs, from frontline case managers to senior executives.
• Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments, especially in high-growth or startup settings.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to satisfy client-specific credentialing requirements, including drug screening and proof of required vaccinations or immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for payer organizations, building trusted relationships with stakeholders across clinical operations, utilization management, care management, and executive leadership.
• Lead onboarding and implementation efforts for AI-driven products, ensuring alignment with payer workflows in areas such as prior authorization, case management, member services, and provider engagement.
• Drive user adoption by training health plan staff on solution functionality and demonstrating real-world applications that support operational goals.
• Identify and validate opportunities to improve cost efficiency, member outcomes, and administrative throughput using Hippocratic AI’s capabilities.
• Manage ongoing client communications, proactively addressing issues, gathering feedback, and translating needs into product and engineering insights.
• Define success metrics tailored to payer use cases, such as turnaround time improvements, staffing efficiency, and member or provider satisfaction.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure product performance meets client expectations and aligns with regulatory and compliance standards. Participate in industry forums, conferences, and webinars to share best practices and thought leadership around AI in payer operations.

About The Role

We are seeking a Customer Success Executive with deep payor experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will ensure our health plan clients achieve measurable outcomes through the deployment of Hippocratic AI’s innovative solutions. You will partner directly with the Chief Medical Officer and play a key role in customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion across our payer portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Lead onboarding and implementation efforts for AI-driven products, ensuring alignment with payer workflows in areas such as prior authorization, case management, member services, and provider engagement.

Location & Travel

• This is a forward-deployed, onsite role.
• This is an onsite role based in Seattle, WA, with five days per week at the client site and occasional travel to Hippocratic AI headquarters (Palo Alto, CA) for strategic planning and team sessions.

What You're Bring

Must-Have:

• A minimum of 5 years working with or within health plans (e.g., Medicare Advantage, Medicaid MCOs, Blues plans, national or regional payers).
• Proven experience in customer success, account management, payer operations, or implementation roles.
• Deep understanding of payer workflows across departments like utilization management, care management, member services, and provider operations. Ability to build trusted relationships across payer orgs, from frontline case managers to senior executives.
• Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments, especially in high-growth or startup settings.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to satisfy client-specific credentialing requirements, including drug screening and proof of required vaccinations or immunizations, as mandated by the healthcare facilities where you will be deployed.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience supporting AI, automation, or SaaS solutions in the payer space.
• Familiarity with prior auth workflows, delegated risk arrangements, value-based care programs, or member engagement initiatives.
• Knowledge of payer-specific compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CMS, NCQA, HIPAA).
