Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to connect customers, sales, and product teams. You will design, demonstrate, and deliver solutions that meet client needs while guiding deployments and providing expert guidance.

With 4+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, you will explain complex concepts to diverse audiences, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across engineering, product, and support teams to drive successful outcomes.

  • Support proof-of-concept, pilot, and implementation activities to validate solution fit and ensure successful deployment.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to customers by troubleshooting issues, answering product-related questions, and providing best-practice guidance.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to communicate customer feedback, identify enhancement opportunities, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to customer requirements, solution designs, implementation plans, and technical configurations.

Role Purpose

The Customer Solutions Engineer serves as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and product teams to design, demonstrate, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs. This role combines technical expertise, problem‑solving, and customer engagement to ensure successful solution implementation and drive customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.

Pay range: $96,254.00 - $132,349.00 (assuming full‑time status). Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
