Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support at our Statesville, NC location. The role focuses on facilitating product movement, accurate handling, and preparing shipments for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a current full valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle as needed.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed.

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs.

OVERVIEW:

Working as Part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support, you will facilitate the movement of product through our customer site. This is an entry-level position based out of our branch located at 116 Wooten St, Statesville, NC 28677. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• o Operating computer programs and wireless hand held devices
• o Moving and handling product accurately
• o Auditing and preparing outgoing shipments to customer facilities
• o Maintain the cleanliness/organization of work area
• o Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• o Work independently as well as in a team environment
• o Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed

• o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• o Prior warehouse experience
• o Prior experience operating a forklift
