Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support at our Thomasville, GA location.

The role supports day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, moving, and auditing shipments at the customer site, with a focus on accuracy and safety. The position offers a flexible schedule after onboarding and performance goals are met, with shifts from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, 10–28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and able to work independently.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule as needed.

OVERVIEW:

Working as Part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support, you will facilitate the movement of product through our customer site. This is an entry-level position based out of our branch located at 1706 Metcalf Ave, Thomasville, GA 31792. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• o Operating computer programs and wireless hand held devices
• o Moving and handling product accurately
• o Auditing and preparing outgoing shipments to customer facilities

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• o Work independently as well as in a team environment
• o Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed

• o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• o Prior warehouse experience
• o Prior experience operating a forklift
