Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support at our Humboldt, TN location. The role will support movement of product through the customer site, with an on-site shift from 2:00pm to 10:00pm and up to 28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older due to job nature.
• Able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently or in a team as needed.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and overtime as required.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages typically 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam)

Responsibilities

• Operate computer programs and wireless handheld devices.
• Move and handle product accurately.
• Audit and prepare outgoing shipments to customer facilities.
• Maintain the cleanliness/organization of the work area.
• Comply with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations.
• Participate in activities to support health, safety and sustainability objectives.
• Complete environmental health and safety trainings and certifications.

Working as Part-time Customer Site Warehouse Support, you will facilitate the movement of product through our customer site. This is an entry-level position based out of our branch located at 899 Dana Dr, Humboldt, TN 38343. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Operating computer programs and wireless hand held devices

Required Position Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Preferred Position Qualifications

• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Prior warehouse experience
• Prior experience operating a forklift
