Job summary

Ewing Outdoor Supply in Springdale, AR, is hiring for an active, full-time Operations role. You’ll handle customer service, sales support, warehouse duties, and local deliveries, with world-class training provided from day one.

Earn $18–$20 per hour, work outdoors and indoors as needed, and join a team that values reliability and teamwork. No prior experience required, but a valid license and physical ability are expected.

Qualifications

• No prior industry experience required; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Spanish bilingual a plus (preferred).
• Knowledge of irrigation or landscape materials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer calls, and assist with product selection and sales.
• Pull, stage, and load orders; maintain a clean, organized warehouse and yard.
• Receive stock, assist with cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Safely load/unload materials for local deliveries to job sites and customers.

This role provides a variety of activities—including customer service, warehouse operations, inventory support, local deliveries, and sales assistance—making it ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working both indoors and outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Though preferred, this hands-on, foundational role doesn’t require prior industry experience; we provide world-class training to set you up for success from day one!

Daily Responsibilities

This role supports the day-to-day operations in a fast-paced wholesale environment serving contractors and industry professionals. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers, answer calls, and field customer questions.
• Support customers in selecting landscape materials, outdoor supplies, and irrigation product recommendations.
• Build and manage customer relationships and offer sales support to customer accounts.

Warehouse & Yard Operations

• Pull, stage, and load customer orders, including stone, soil, mulch, and hardscape materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming warehouse and yard, while following all equipment and material-handling safety standards.

Inventory Management

• Receive and stock deliveries and transfers.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.

Delivery and Transportation

• Load and unload materials using company delivery vehicles while following all safety protocols.
• Safely deliver customer materials in company delivery vehicles to local job sites, while providing world-class customer service upon arrival.

What we are looking for…

• Basic math and communication skills
• An eagerness to work as a team and deliver world-class customer service

Preferred, but not required…

• Warehouse associate experience
• Delivery driver experience
• Forklift certification
• Knowledge of irrigation, plumbing, or landscape materials (remember, our training rocks)
• Spanish Bi-Lingual is always a plus
