The Customer Service Specialist 2 position is responsible for performing varied customer service duties including reception, customer transactions, cash handling, and general office assistance.
The Customer Service Specialist 2 is distinguished from the Customer Service Specialist 1 as the Customer Service Specialist 2 performs all customer service functions independently whereas the Customer Service Specialist 1 performs concession functions independently and/or assists a Customer Service Specialist 2 with general customer service functions.
Duty may include, but are not limited to the following:
Winter seasonal position to start at the end of September thru March.
Schedule varies, including weekends and holidays.
Facilities operate from 5:30am-9:15pm Monday-Friday and 7:45am-6:15pm on weekends.
Strong Knowledge of:
Skill and Ability to:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; AND
2. One (1) year of customer service experience with cashiering and computerized processing experience; OR
3. Any satisfactory combination of education, experience and training.
This position may require reporting to additional sites throughout the workday, typically achieved in a motor vehicle OR other modes of transportation. If choosing a personal vehicle, possession of, or ability to obtain valid Oregon driver’s license within 30 days with an acceptable driving history as defined by district driving policy.
If you do not have a driver’s license or have an unacceptable driving history, it does not disqualify you from this position, only from driving a vehicle for district business.
Works under the general supervision of the Supervisor who assigns work. Receives direction and leadership from Customer Service Specialist 3. Carries out work independently, but work and decisions are typically reviewed prior to final execution.
Supervision is not a responsibility of this classification; however, may provide some direction and leadership to Customer Service Specialist 1’s.
