Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Customer Service/Sales Associate to provide fast, friendly service and to learn products to assist customers with project needs. You will greet, qualify, recommend, and close customers in your department, while maintaining stock and a safe, clean shopping environment.

Associates may work in various departments such as Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental, among others.

Qualifications

• Provide fast, friendly service by assessing customer needs and guiding them to solutions.
• Learn product information to assist customers and sell projects.
• Greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in the department.
• Maintain in-stock condition and keep areas clean, shop-able, and safe.
