Job summary

The Home Depot in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Customer Service/Sales Associate to deliver fast, friendly service. You will greet customers, assess needs, recommend products, and help close sales while learning product knowledge using our tools.

You will maintain in-stock conditions, keep your area clean and safe, and collaborate with Department Supervisors and teammates across departments to ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
• Learn about products using tools, and provide information to customers to help sell an entire project.
• Greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department.
• Handle basics in adjacent departments.
• Maintain in-stock conditions; ensure area is clean, shop-able, and safe.
• Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following safety policies and training, correcting hazards, and reporting hazards to the Manager on Duty.
• Work with Department Supervisor and other associates across departments.
• Support various store departments such as Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing and Tool Rental.
