Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Customer Service/Sales associate to provide fast, friendly service by actively helping customers and assessing their needs. You will learn about products to assist customers in selling entire projects and greet, qualify, and close sales in your department.

Associates maintain in-stock conditions, keep areas clean and safe, and follow all safety policies and training. You will collaborate with others across departments to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department.
• Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure the area is clean, shop-able, and safe.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and standards, complete safety training, and report hazards to the Manager on Duty.
• Work with Department Supervisor and other associates across departments to assist customers and support sales across store areas.
