Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking Customer Service/Sales associates to deliver fast, friendly service and actively assist customers with product selection and project needs. Responsibilities include greeting customers, qualifying needs, recommending solutions, and closing sales within the department while maintaining stock and store safety.

Associates will learn product knowledge to guide customers effectively, ensure clean and safe aisles, and cooperate with department supervisors and other departments

Qualifications

• Greet customers and assess their needs to recommend products.
• Learn product knowledge to assist customers and close sales.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and keep areas clean, safe, and shop-able.
• Follow safety policies and complete required training.
• Collaborate with Department Supervisors and other store departments.

Responsibilities

• Greet, qualify, recommend, and close sales in their department and adjacent areas.
• Keep department areas stocked, clean, and safe for customers and coworkers.
• Adhere to all safety standards and report hazards or incidents to management.
