Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Garfield Heights, Ohio to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, maintain store cleanliness, stock and unload merchandise, and support daily store operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), customer service experience, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. The position is part-time and on-site, offering a friendly team and room to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
