Job summary

Lendmark Financial Services is seeking a Sr. Loan Consultant to support the Branch Manager by overseeing branch operations and ensuring staff perform duties with trust and service. You will help drive profitability, lending activity, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, supervisory ability, and experience with lending software. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferred degrees and bilingual skills as an advantage.

• 5+ years consumer finance or related experience.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

• Proficient working knowledge of lending software, MS Windows, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staff management to meet goals for profitability, volume, lending, credit quality, collections and expenses.
• Make loan decisions up to established lending limits; process and close consumer loans; collect accounts at various delinquency stages.
• Assist branch manager with community business development relationships.
• Sell products and services to meet sales goals.

• Support hiring, staffing, training, performance reviews and terminations as applicable.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The role of Sr. Loan Consultant is to support the Branch Manager by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch and ensuring all operational functions are completely and properly performed by the staff while conveying a feeling of trust, service, security and satisfaction to customers and staff.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the management and motivation of the staff to meet goals and objectives relating to branch profitability, volume, lending, credit quality, collections and expense.
• Make loan decisions up to established lending limits or recommend loan decisions; process consumer loans; close consumer loans; collect accounts in varying stages of delinquency.
• Assist branch manager with business development relationships within the community.
• Sell products and services to meet sales goals.
• Assist customers with the implementation of solutions and monitor overall customer satisfaction.
• Assist branch manager with matters regarding hiring, staffing, training, performance reviews and terminations as applicable.
• Ensure a high quality of customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution
• 5 plus years consumer finance or related experience
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient working knowledge of industry or related industry lending software, Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Applications

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree
• Bilingual, Spanish/English

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is competitive based on the job duties as well as the specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience of the selected candidate. This position is eligible for Quarterly Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines.
