Job summary

Avis Budget Group at our airport locations is hiring for an outdoor, active rental associate who delivers friendly, efficient service during the rental and return process. This role requires adaptability and a customer-first mindset.

You will check vehicles, input data on handheld devices, assist loyalty customers, and help ensure a positive experience for every guest while working shifts outdoors in various weather.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
• Effective verbal communication and customer service skills
• A customer-first mindset with a genuine desire to help people
• Strong customer service skills including professionalism, patience, and clear communication
• Willingness to work outdoors and stay active
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States
• On-site presence required; cannot be remote
• 6 months retail or customer service experience is a bonus

This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same - and where your flexibility and customer service skills make a real difference.

What You'll Do:

This is an outdoor, multi-function role where you will assist customers throughout various parts of the rental and return process on our airport lots. Depending on the location, your responsibilities may include checking vehicles, entering information into a handheld device, processing rentals for loyalty customers, assisting customers at exit gates, and checking in vehicles at return. Across all duties, you'll provide professional, friendly customer service to help ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for every customer.

• 6 months retail or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus
