R1 RCM Inc. is hiring a PRN part-time Patient Access Specialist at LifePoint Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. You will help patients check in, gather information, and work with care teams to move admissions smoothly. Open availability inclusive of days, evenings, and overnights; rotating on-call schedule is required.

We train if needed; strong customer service and attention to detail are essential. Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.10 per hour, with benefits available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient access, medical registration, insurance verification, or front desk is a plus.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with the check-in process across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answering questions.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Cross-train in multiple departments as needed.

Location and Shift: Location: LifePoint Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center Shift: PRN- part time, work as needed. Open availability required for as needed shifts (must have day, evening, and overnight availability to be considered). Holiday and weekend availability is required. Shifts will range between 8-12 hours. Hours will include a rotating on-call schedule. PRN associates will be cross-trained in multiple departments as needed.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $16.00 - $21.10 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
